Nano Novels consists of 16 graphic artworks, inspired by nanotechnology. Each artwork is accompanied by some ’stereo literature’ - factual scientific text and metaphorical text. On 16th November 2008 the large scale 1.8 x 1.2 meter artworks were installed - the first ever art installation on Cranfield University. Click for installation shots.
An exhibition of prints is currently on show in the Vincent Building atrium, Cranfield University. The works will be on display until late 2009 and the building is open to the public from 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday.
A limited edition booklet containing the Nano Novel texts and images called ‘in Particular - art and science from the tiniverse’ is available now. Published by HAPPEN. ISBN 978-0-9557652-6. Please make contact if you would like a copy, there will be no charge aside from postage and packaging.
